Emergency lights are required in all types of buildings and structures that are not equipped with a generator or other emergency backup power system which keeps the lighting system of the facility functional. The Exit Store manufactures a wide variety of high-quality, reliable emergency light fixtures and offers them at factory direct prices. All Exit Store emergency light fixtures are hard wired, come standard with two powerful lamps, and a battery backup system. Emergency lights are always hard wired into your electrical system; the batteries located inside the units are there for emergency backup purposes only. While AC power to a facility is operational, the battery backup system within emergency lights constantly charges and when pwoer is lost, a relay switches and the emergency lamps illuminate, using the battery for power. The battery backup systems included with our emergency lamps offer 90 minutes of emergency illumination but can be outfitted with an additional battery to increase operation time up to 180 minutes. We offer affordable thermoplastic, durable steel, and outdoor rated wet location emergency lights. The Exit Store emergency light fixtures are UL 924 Listed for the United States and come witha five-year warranty. We also carry a full line of replacement batteries for emergency lights. If you need to install both an emergency light and exit sign, consider purchasing a combination exit sign with emergency lights combination model.
