CONSTRUCTION:

The Maxis housing is constructed from thermoplastic. The faceplate is heavy duty vandal-resistant polycarbonate. The Maxis is available as a Single or Double Sided Exit Sign, or as a Combo unit with Emergency Lights attached.

ILLUMINATION:

The Maxis Exit Sign is illuminated with Incandescent Lights or optional LEDs for Red or White Letters. The emergency lights are illuminated using Tungsten Lamps, and can be specified as attached lamps or remote units.

EXIT FACE:

The MXS is designed with a heavy duty polycarbonate face which is vandal resistant. Letters are 6" high with 3/4" stroke and are available in Red, White or Green. The face of the sign is also available in Red, White or Green; though the face color may not be the same as the letter color.

BATTERY TECHNOLOGY:

The Maxis is available AC Only or with a maintenance-free Ni-CAD battery. Battery Powered units are able to provide power for 2 lamps either connected directly to the unit or as remote fixtures.

INSTALLATION:

The MXS can be back, top, or side mounted and is available as an exit sign or an emergency combo unit.

ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

The Maxis can be connected using 120/277 Volt AC power. The unit can be specified to operate as an AC Only unit, or with 6, 12, or 24 Volt DC battery backup power for the exit sign and any lamp heads either attached to the unit or used in remote location.

CODE COMPLIANCE:

The MXS is UL924 Listed and approved for use in the United States and Canada. In addition, it is also NEMA 4X rated for use in Wet Locations, as well as for outdoors when the optional internal heater is specified.
