PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Hazardous Fixtures, when used with the IX Series power pack, are ideal for use in hazardous locations where explosive materials may be present. The R Series is suitable for use in extreme hazardous location areas.

ILLUMINATION

Illumination is accomplished with halogen incandescent or compact fluorescent lamps protected with a heat resistant globe.

HOUSING

Copper-free cast aluminum enclosure designed to withstand the pressure of explosions generated by internal arc without propagating them into the hazardous atmosphere. Enclosure has a corrosion resistant, epoxy powder coat finish. Includes high impact, heat resistant globe with a cast aluminum globe guard, and stainless steel hardware. Ceiling and wall mount fixtures have universal junction box with four tapped holes for 3/4in rigid conduit (3 closeup plugs provided.) Pendant mount fixture has 3/4in top hub. Optional exit accessory is available.

ELECTRONICS

Compatible with medium base incandescent, or 13 watt compact fluorescent lamps for non-emergency application. Available with low voltage halogen lamps and 7 watt fluorescent lamps when powered by IX Series Emergency Lighting Unit.
