Edge-Lit LED Exit Signs are attractive, efficient, and reliable

When ordering an Edge-Lit Exit Sign, it is important know a few details about your application. Are you surface mounting or recessing your sign into the application surface? Do you need a single or double sided model? Do you have a backup generator for your building or do you need a battery backup model?

The Exit Store offers recess mounting models for both suspended ceiling and drywall surfaces, and a few of our specifier grade Edge-Lit Exit Signs can wall-recessed and/or ceiling recessed. Surface mounting models come with a universal mounting plate and can be top, side, or back mounted. Single sided models are for applications where EXIT will only be read from one side of the sign; if EXIT will need to be read from either side of the sign, choose a double sided model. Some buildings feature backup power generators that keep the lighting system, including exit signs, operable in case of a power outage. If your facility does not have a backup generator that is hooked into your exit signs, then you will need a battery backup Edge-Lit Exit Sign. Battery backup models will remain illuminated for at least 90 minutes after AC power to your facility is lost, allowing patrons to effectively find their way out of the buildings

Recessed models work for both drywall and suspended ceiling applicaitons

The aluminum housings offered with our Edge-Lit exit signs come in standard white, black, or brushed aluminum finishes. We offer a number of other high-end finishes such as Antique Copper, Gunmetal, and Polished Nickel among others. You can add a custom finish to just about any Edge-Lit exit sign model that we provied. In addition to that, we also offer custom Edge-Lit exit signs that allow you to design the wording and/or pictogram on the acrylic panel. The Exit Store LED Edge Lit exit signs are offered with dual voltage capability; they come ready to install to either 120v or 277v AC electricity. Most models come with a battery backup and push-to-test button, which allows you to easily perform monthly testing of the backup system. Our Edge-Lit exit signs are UL 924 Listed and code compliant throughout the United States. We carry UL Canada Approved models as well.
