LED exit signs conenct to either 120 or 277v electricity and come in multiple styles and designs. Thermoplastic models are favored for their affordability and ease of installation while cast aluminum LED exit signs are popular because of their durability and attractive brushed housing. Edge-Lit LED exit signs are the most stylish type of illuminated exit sign that we offer and features a glowing EXIT panel and aluminum housing that can be fully recessed into both ceiling and wall applications. All LED illuminated exit signs consume less than 5 watts of electricity and have a 5 year warranty.

If you need to install both an exit sign and an emergency lighting fixture, consider installing a combination exit sign with lights model. Combo exit sign models feature an LED exit sign with two top or side mounted emergency lamps. The exit sign portion is always illuminated and the emergency lamps operate only when power is lost (along with the exit sign). The powerful battery inside our combo units provides at least 90 minutes of emergency power to both the exit sign and emergency lights. A combo unit reduces maintenance and product cost by taking two units and combining them to create one. Self-luminous are completely self reliant and last up to 20 years

If electricity is not accessible where you need to install your illuminated exit sign, consider a non-electrical illuminated exit sign. Save the cost of hiring an electrician and choose a self-luminous or photoluminescent exit sign. Both types of non-electrical exit signs are UL 924 Listed and comply with the same fire code regulations and building specifications as electrical exit signs. Self-luminous exit signs illuminate using a glowing form of hydrogen gas, called tritium, which provides reliable EXIT lighting for up to 20 years. There is absolutely no source of power required to power a self-luminous exit sign and they can be used for both indoors and outdoors EXIT sign applications.

Photoluminescent exit signs are code compliant and non-electrical

Photoluminescent exit signs illuminate by absorbing light and then glowing when dark conditions are present. Photoluminescent exit signs are popular for commercial applications where light is present to charge the face of the sign while the building is occupied. Only a small amount of light is needed to charge the sign, which is easily satisfied by the output of the normal lighting system in a hotel, office, or retail store. Photoluminescent exit signs last for 25+ years so maintenance costs are eliminated and many of the models that we offer can be recycled at the end of their useful life.
